I have encountered a serious accident and have been off-work

Customer Question

I have encountered a serious accident and have been off-work over the last five months. The treatment hasn't accomplished yet. AS an associate dentist I'm obliged to give a three months notice, but related to my current situation. Isit eligible to immediate terminate my contract without going through the three months notice period
JA: Because employment law varies from place to place, can you tell me what state this is in?
Customer: Bristol, UK
JA: Is the employment agreement "at will," union, full time or part time?
Customer: full time self employed
JA: Anything else you want the lawyer to know before I connect you?

Hi there if you were to give 3 months notice I presume you won't be able to work for any of it?
