Please can you let me know what the regulations are regarding employment of young people? Can you employ someone who is 14 or do you need to wait until they are 15? It is just for part-time Saturday work in a shop. Thank you

You may offer part time work to a child who has turned 13, the child can only work full time once they reach 16.
