When gathering evidence for a diciplinary would it be corret procedure to interview the person making the complaint about me, in Morrisons Superstore in St Albans
Optional Information: Province/Country relating to question: UK Already Tried: There are quite a few procedural issues I want to be sure on this question
Hello,You may ask your employer about the nature of the complaint made against you.You would not be allowed to interview the complainant directly unless they agree. All the best
Any reason for the bad feedback?
You have misunderstood the question. The complainant (against me) was interviewed in a store. Is this the correct procedure for an investigation when anyone could hear details about me. Would this be allowed and would it not constitute a reason to place a counter grievance?
Thank you.The interview should have been held in private as personal information was being disclosed and it could be a breach of the Data Protection Act.You may lodge a grievance about the way the interview was conducted. All the best
