Customer Question

hdr-7500t - CAN i GET ABC IVIEW
JA: What's the make/model of your device? How old is it?
Customer: HDR-7500T (I have 2), a couple of years old, there is SBS but no ABC installed
JA: How long has this been going on? What troubleshooting have you tried?
Customer: Forever. I can see no option to install ABC iView
JA: Anything else you want the electronics expert to know before I connect you?
Customer: Is it possible even? Old versions of Linux (I guess thats the OS since Humax acknowledges Opeb Source) don't support FLASH and ABC iView requires it.

Hi there and welcome

No directly on the unit, what you need to use is an adapter such as Google Chromecast. (www.google.com/chromecast)

You connect it directly to a HDMI port on the TV.

Then via your phone (Android or iPhone) you download the app (check here to see if it is compatable with your Andoird phone if you have one)

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=au.net.abc.iview

And you use your phone as a remote and it wirelessly casts the content to the TV.

For ABC iView, this is the best way to achieve this.
