I have an Akai AA-A! tuner amp which has given good service over many years.Recently the radio stoped woking with no light on the dial, but the cd and tv inputs still work perfectly. I can get around the problem by playing the radio via my Sky receiver, but I would like to know if it is a simple fix?
Already Tried: Nothing as yet

Great on the DIY!Just an update; located the Service Manual / schematics. Doing a review. Would post again with initial diagnosis and test procedures in a while. May not be that immediate; bear with me.Offhand, proposed test for the presence of +12~15V on:
Hi
You are refering to items on the board schematics I assume.
I do not have these schematics so I do not know where I am to look for the test you refer to.
