Please follow the steps below to convert your player to region free:

1- Turn on the player

2- When ON hold down CLEAR on the remote control and the PROG Down on the front panel for 6 seconds (both keys together for 6 seconds)

3- A list of codes will appear

4- Change OP6 from aa to 8e

5- Press Enter and then menu/list on your remote

It should work now.

If no luck, please follow the method below:
Method 2:
1- open disc tray (no disc inserted)
2- press pause from the remote
3- press zero three times
4- select region (0 for all region)
5- press pause to confirm region
6- turn it off
7- turn it on

I already know how to make it region free ... that was not the question.
I am trying to return it to the OP settings for UK ... as I stupidly didn't notice I had changed some OPS as well as OP6.
The Question basically was "what are the default OP dettings for this machine in the UK?"
