Hello and welcome to JustAnswer!

The engine and related warning lights will come on when the engine controller sees a failure in a monitored component and sets a fault code. There are literally dozens of possible causes including any component in the powertrain, catalytic converter, charging system issues, even the engine controller itself.

The first step in diagnosing the problem is to use a scan tool or code reader to see what fault codes have set and then testing can be done from there. Have you read the codes?
