53 318 ciSE facelift n42b20a. 103kmiles.occasional no start stumbles tries to fire,then dies,excessive crank then fires or sometimes flattens battery, once fired no worries ok for rest of day.
no codes on basic scanner. perhaps one incident a week.
have contact cleaned everything visible.

my suspicions are on an actutator which does something behind the butterfly, specifically what it moves.
the plugs were changed from bosch to ngk, used them (ngk) on my race bikes.
ive done most obvious, reaching now.

If there are truly no fault codes setting then the problem is more likely to be fuel related. Has fuel pressure been checked at the time it does not start?

New pump and filter, can hear pump at key on priming. A press on the schrader valve give a massive squirt. Once starts it will fine run all day, always occurred after over night, still patchy . Battery?

Have you tested fuel pressure with a gauge at the time the engine will not start?

no because
I do no know when it will not start, it may be pressure leak intermittent someway.
Some mornings not a problem, my degree is in computers so I pretty much eliminated them and sensors.
No codes still,
I am current looking for a bad earth, did start after 4hours on charge good crank eventually fired gave it a run, today no lights , no faults .
weird .
I do not have a pressure gauge ill find none
I have gone though every bloody check I can find on the web.

Testing has to be done at the time the problem is happening. If no fault codes are setting then fuel pressure should be checked at the time of the no start condition, if ok then live data is going to need to be monitored.

Your last post said fuel pressure had not been checked. If fuel pressure has not been checked during the no start period that is the next step.
