UK Car Repair Questions? Ask a Mechanic for Answers ASAP
Hi, I'm Greg (Indy-Tech).Welcome to JustAnswer. I'm reviewing your question now, and will post back with your reply ASAP.Rgds Greg.
We see this a lot and in most cases 95% the BCM is the problem .
First you need to clear codes with the scan tool .
Switch off the ignition wait a few minutes and switch back ON.
The before starting the engine recheck for codes .if the code is there then
most likely the wiring to the ECM ,connection on the ecm has a problem or the BCM is bad .
If the codes does not come back then with the ignition ON wiggle test the wiring harness at the BCM.
is wiring is bad the code will trip.
