Hello and welcome to JustAnswer!

There are quite a few things that can cause misfiring and you've covered much of the basics. Valvetrain/cylinder sealing issues, an exhaust restriction and fuel quality are less likely causes but definite possibilities if you've ruled out ignition components.

You're about three days too late I submitted this question early on Sunday. The owner of the car has given up jump to the car and we no longer need a reply. Just wondering why it took 4 days to get a reply?
