Hi im kevin does engine start and run normally ?

Customer: replied 1 month ago.
it runs fine and starts well.
Expert:  Kevin replied 1 month ago.

Poping back would normally indicate a timing issue

Customer: replied 1 month ago.
Tomorrow I am replacing the timing chain on the car, and check for that sound again.

sound is not like a back fire, though
Expert:  Kevin replied 1 month ago.

Ok what does it sound like ?

Customer: replied 1 month ago.
its a dull sound, one like beating on a plastic oil can with a hammer on it when it is full with oil/liquid
Expert:  Kevin replied 1 month ago.

And when does this occurr?

Customer: replied 1 month ago.
all times after start up, and best heard at idle. more clear if the intake is disconnected from turbo cooler
