Engine pooling performance.cold start.when on high speed jerking begings and fuel gauge moves from full to zero gauge
JA: What is the model/year of your VW?
Customer: 2009 1.6 model
JA: Are you hoping to fix this yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: Yes .I have had my fuel change and still experiencing same problem
JA: Has the vehicle turned into a gas hog? And how does it start -- same as usual?
Customer: Even when my tank is full and on high speed I will suddenly fill the car having difficulty in pooling and then there after the fuel gauge will just drop to zero
JA: Anything else you think the mechanic should know?

Have you checked the wiring at your fuel pump access? it sounds like you may be losing your connection there, gauge dropping to zero and maybe also cutting off the fuel flow at the same time. Does it only do this when you are accelerating, or can you duplicate it at other times?
