Hello, my name is ***** ***** I am a professional here at Justanswer. Thank you for your question and I will assist you with your concern.

The juddering your describing can be caused by an engine misfire while the engine is under load and in most cases the computer system will detect it and set and store a fault code. The next steps would be to have the computer system scanned and see if there are any fault codes setting. Most auto part store such as Auto Zone will run a scan for you at no charge. Can you get the scan done and post back with the results and I will direct you from there to the correct repair needed.

Thanks Ron, we did scan before but no fault codes found.

Im suspecting you have a spark plug breaking down under load, how many miles since you had them checked?

Customer: replied 6 months ago.
Sorry, I should have been more specific. Its a diesel. Saab 95 1.9TiD Turbo Edition.
