Hi .

If you have the T4 or Notebook diagnostic scan tool then check for suspension malfunction codes.

But to be honest on the 2003 its now 13 years old, and only after 8 years this system is known to give a lot of expensive problem .

What i suggest you do as i do, is talk to your customer and tell him/her it would be cheaper and better in the years to come to change the suspension system to the conventional type of spring and shocks .
