Hi Pearl , I put key in turn on ignition and an anti theft fault comes up and engine won,t start
JA: Is the car in "Park" or "Neutral?" Do you know if your car has a "wheel lock" feature?
Customer: Cars in neutral,think it's got wheel lock but not locked
JA: What is the model/year of your Peugeot?
Customer: It's a 1.6 hdi 05 plate
JA: What year is your Peugeot?
Customer: 2005

Customer: Don,t know if I can.i got key checked they said it was ok.i,be tried looking at fuses but can,t find any blown

THe problem may be immobilizer related but the immobilizer light may also be coming on because the immobilizer module isn't communicating with the engine controller, either due to it's failure or a loss of power or ground to it.

Will the ECM communicate with a scan tool?
