My kia sadonas alarm just keeps going off and I need to

Customer Question

Hi my kia sadonas alarm just keeps going off and I need to drive it
JA: Sometimes things that you think will be really complicated end up being easy to fix with Kia. The Kia Mechanic I'm going to connect you with knows all the tricks and shortcuts. Tell me a bit more about what's going on so he can help you best.
Customer: I usually need to press the buttons on my fob to star the car. I put the key into the door instead and it's now on lock down and goes off if you touch anything?
JA: Are you hoping to fix this yourself?
Customer: Yes I need to get home
JA: Great! What have you tried so far?
Customer: Pressed all the buttons on my fob
JA: Is there anything else the Kia Mechanic should be aware of about your Kia?
Customer: Not really
JA: OK. Got it. I'm sending you to a secure page on JustAnswer so you can place the $5 fully-refundable deposit now. While you're filling out that form, I'll tell the Kia Mechanic about your situation and then connect you two.

Try turning the key to the run position (just before it cranks) and then off 3 times in a row and then start the vehicle. It should turn the alarm off and reset the system.
