Hello and welcome to JustAnswer!

If the vehicle is bouncing excessively from road input it points to bad struts. The struts' job is to absorb input and dampen the action of the springs from road input. If the vehicle bounces excessively when hitting bumps then the struts aren't doing their job to dampen the suspension action and they should be replaced.

If you have replaced the tires and are still hearing what sounds like excessive road noise then you most likely have one or more ba wheel bearings. Wheel bearings will growl and cause a noise that is related to vehicle speed. Wheel bearing noise will often come and go or lessen if you swerve while driving, but if more than one bearing is making noise then you may not hear much of a difference.

hi Mike the two front struts and strut bearings were replaced last year and cant hear any noise from the bearings, but the car engine tone seems to be a different noise like a rough noise
thanks

Where did the replacement struts come from?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
euro carparts

They were aftermarket then, correct?

aftermarket but good quality

The problem may be the rear struts but aftermarket struts usually change ride quality and won't last as long. If replacing them didn't have any effect on the problem then it's more likely that the rears are causing the issue, but if the problem got worse when replacing the fronts, or it got better but progressively worse over time then the front struts are part of the issue.

The other noise that you're hearing appears to be wheel bearing noise.

how cani tell if the wheel bearings are broken there is no play or noise when the car is jacked up and i spin the wheels

the car was fine when the front struts were about 15 month ago the car has done 28000 mile since the change i thought they would last longer than that thanks

You can run the vehicle on a hoist while using a stethoscope to listen to the bearings, or enlist the help of someone familiar with wheel bearing growl and have them drive it.
