Renault grand scenic central won't lock car, indicator

Customer Question

Renault grand scenic central won't lock car, indicator loughs do flash when I press the fob on key card but there is no clicking sound and car fails to lock. Also the internal central locking button in centre near gear stick does not lock the car either. I can hear a faint clicking sound when I press the fob and have replaced the battery

Hello and welcome to Justanswer!

I see your question has been up for an extended time without a response and while although my information on this vehicle is limited I would like to try to help.

The power locks may not be working due to a wiring or module issue, or it may be an issue with one or more lock actuators. High current draw from a failing actuator can cause the locks to be disabled or a fuse to blow.

Have you checked fuses?
