Customer Question

Hi, Graham here, i have a transit panel van 2012 100ps 6speed, it has developed a nasty vibration at 60-70 mph, just had it completely checked over by local foerd dealer who can find nothing wrong, its not through the steering wheel and being an experienced driver i know all the sounds/ symptoms of unbalanced wheels, wheel bearings and drive shafts, its none of these, i am wondering about the clutch/ flywheel, Any thoughts?

Hello and welcome to JustAnswer!

If the vibration is speed dependent then it isn't going to be related to the engine or flywheel. A broken flywheel or clutch pressure plate issue can definitely cause a vibration but it will be engine speed dependent. If your vibration is vehicle speed dependent then you have an issue with a tire, wheel, hub, or it's driveshaft related.

While the vibration is present does it come and go or change at all when pressing and releasing the throttle?
