I'm trying to figure out why my mini s 2007 sat nav is

Customer Question

I'm trying to figure out why my mini cooper s 2007 sat nav is showing the wrong location. Seems to be a common fault. I'm not exactly a car-handy person so will need to ask someone to fix it if I need to do anything beyond clicking a couple of buttons. I don't generally use the sat nav but it would be useful if it works in case I get lost somewhere.

goto the Sat Nav Menu main menu (destination screen),
> scroll down until you see information
> select position input
> enter the city
> enter the street
> select junction ?
> enter a crossing intersection road / street
> select the new menu option underneath Crossing the Junction
