Customer Question

Hi, Im having problems with the electric handbrake, the yellow lever was pulled when a mechanic went to replace the back brake pads stupid i know, but he couldnt reset it or should i say didnt know how. Anyways he gave me it back and said sorry but this is what has happened and i dont know how to put it back, "i wont charge you for it tho" could of swung for the guy.
Anyways its a scenic 55 plate 1.5dci and i just cant seem to reset it, the whole thing was working before he pulled it, so im guessing everything works. any suggestions on how to reset this?

Hi I'm Kevin try this if it doesn't work you will have to have it electronically reset on renault specific computer .dont let this wally work on car again

turn your ignition on without starting engine, have drivers door openand press lock button on keycard
put keycard in reader and press start button for 5 seconds.
pull large part of manual handbrake handle and push small button with red light without letting go of larger handle and you should hear the handbrake motor reset some time you will have to do
