I have got the basic head unit fitted into my ford fiesta

Customer Question

I have got the basic head unit fitted into my ford fiesta mk7 (2009) and front speakers only. The sound is good but the right door speaker rattles a lot which spoils the whole audio experience. I am wanting to fit a better head unit with Bluetooth, the mic, USB, rear speakers and sort out the rattle in the door, I was wondering if anyone would be able to help me to advise what to do, where to go or if anyone on here would be willing to do it for me (obviously I will pay for labour)? I currently have a parrot and I think it's dreadful, the sound quality is bad and doesn't work half the time, money is no obligation as I'm going to be keeping the car for a few years and I believe this upgrade is worth investing in.

hello

if you can tell me your whearebouts in the country I'll try and reccommend someone

the work you're after is something that can be tackled by any competant car audio specialist

I live in Salisbury so that is the most ideal, however I visit my parents every few weekends in Bristol so there is an option as well but preferably closer to Salisbury.

Just to add, by better head unit I mean I would like an official ford one, like the silver standard one with the number pad or the Sony DAB system.

Hello

Ok try this firm

http://www.absoluteaudio.org.uk/

or

http://www.whitehorseautostyling.co.uk/tag/car-audio-installers-wiltshire/

and regarding a better head unit then you will pay over the odds if you want a Ford part compared to an aftermarket unit such as a Sony or Alpine

I would take at look at some of the more conservative models that are on offer as you'll get a lot more functionality for your money compared to the Ford offering and not all of them light up like a disco

I have looked into it some more and I will have to buy the parts needed myself and then go one of those local places to fit it for a small charge as thats all they will do, do you know anywhere that i can buy new legitimate for parts from?

hello

If you want to buy Ford parts then you can obviously go to a Ford dealership

however I think thats not what you're asking

if you're happy with used parts then I'd reccommend a Ford specialist breakers as you'll get the parts you want with a 30 day warrenty at a reasonable price
