Hi mike
Wife's 2004 plate tino remote key has stopped working ! The battery has been replaced in the fob but it still will not work...

It's possible that the issue is with the keyless entry receiver on the vehicle but it's by far more likely to be a failed key fob. If you have a second fob try it, if a second fob does work then you know the first one has failed if the battery is good.

If a second fob isn't available then the next step will be to have this one tested. Any dealer and most shops will have a tester to see if the fob is transmitting. Here in the US most large parts stores will test fobs for free, which may be something available to you also. If it isn't transmitting when the buttons are pressed then it will need to be replaced.
