Customer Question

2003 transit t280 125, was cutting out now and again, it finally gave up on Saturday, I was advised it would be the metering valve on the pump, I got a new one and fitted it, it won't start, it's trying to start but think it's only firing on 2 or 3 cylinders?

Hello

can I ask when you were advised that it was the pump metering valve was there a fault code to support this? - if so what was this code?

as I have to say it sounds more like an electrical fault to me

possibly a faulty cam or crank sensor?
