Hi there good afternoon to you
Ok installing the wrong grade of power steering fluid would not illuminate the powertrain warming control lamp
This fault is down to an electronic engine managment control fault
The first thing that must be done is to a have a diagnostic fault code check carried out on the PCM(Powertrain Control Module )
As this fault will have stored a fault code which is imperative to correctly diagnosing this issue
The most common fault we see are EGR valve faults and fuel pressure /metering /limiting valve issues
But no work should be carried out until the relavent fault code is retrieved
If you need anymore help or advice on this issue please let me know
