Hello and welcome to JustAnswer!
There are quite a few things that could cause the ESP and BAS lights to come on. they're coming on because the ABS module is seeing an issue somewhere in the system that will prevent proper brake assist and ESP/traction control operation and is setting a fault code. The issue could be speed sensor related, the module itself, the hydraulic control unit, steering angle sensor, yaw sensor, brake travel or pressure sensor, the brake switch, or a wiring issue between any of the components.
The first step in diagnosing the problem will be to see what fault codes are setting in the ABS/ESP module and go from there.
