ESP sign appeared together with ABS and wrench symbols. Is this serious? Computer says check ESP.

Hi..

Your ESP is your electronic stability control..essentially runs through or in tandem with the ABS system as thats where the ESP gets it info from..so a complete scan or interogation of the ABS control module/ecu needs to be carried to be certain if its just a wheel sensor or an actual internal fault with the ABS unit/module..only once you know these fault codes can you progress further into as far as checks of each wheels sensor/target ring/abs system wiring/.whether its serious or not? is hard to say at this point as we dont know the fault codes you have logged..it could just well be a faulty wheel speed sensor and shouldnt be serious issue to deal with..
