i have a p0302 code on ins dash i tryed liking pc to onboard but getting no data feedback from car i understand i might have a missfire in cylinder 2 any ideas whats causing this

Hi there , good morning to you and sorry for the delayed response
The most common cause of This issue is down to a software error, (or a cylinder knock limit attained fault ) the injector correction value for cylinder 2 needs to be re-entered into the PCM. After doing this the PCM software needs to be updated to the latest level
The injector correction value is a 16 digit number on the label on the injector, if you can't read this number then unfortunately the injector will need replacing this will then enable you to put the new correction value in from the label on the new injector.
Ford Compatible diagnostic equipment is required to input the correction value and to update the PCM software, This should be carried out using Ford IDS diagnostic software
