Hello and Welcome to justanswer..When you get this issue, cdl system not working as you describe AND it's blowing the cdl system fuse, then you have a short in the wiring ususally...and it's usually to be found intone of the wires having chaffed or broken in the tubing that goes from the car body to each door... You need to open up that tubing...starting with the drivers door as the usual culprit..and check to find such a fault. It's usually the drivers door one but of course cold be any but I suggest start with that one as that one gets the most use. When you find the fault , repair the wire/ as needed and the fit a new fuse and all will work again.IF its not one of the door feed wires, it can be the boot one so you would need to check that one too. As you can't open the boot hatch you will need to clamber into the load area ..look closely at the rear door panel and you will see toward the bottom a colour coded circular 'button ' or plastic grommet... Prise That out and you can use your finger or a screwdriver to put through the hole to unlatch the boot to open it...and then check the rubber tube, housing as above to the boot. You may want to start with that one actually given the boot won't open, the dodgy wire may well be there on that one.IF its not a cuffed or broken wire, then you have to check all the wiring in the boot and doors until you find the fault. It can be a component fault in one of the doors that's burned out but if you get to that point, it's then a fault finding exercise with testers etc to trace the cause... In all honesty though, I say that to give you the overview, but the issue is usually found in one of the wires as above..I'm very pleased to have helped you, by all means get back to me if you wish / need..Meantime, please do click one of the OK smiley faces for me... Thank you. While the question may close, you can if you wish / need , come back to me as you have above... clicking one of the OK smilies does not close you out..Best Rgds, MIKE.
