Hello and Welcome to justanswer...

Can you tell me how long you have owned the vehicle & if you have had any other issues with it ...cooling system issues etc..

Plus, do you need to continually check, top up the coolant ?

Have you checked for any wet or even just damp in the carpets ..front both sides and toward the mid section of the car..and up under the dash ?

Please tell me all, whatever you have done so far ...

Rgds, MIKE..................................

Hello again Tony, thank you for your reply..

Ok, such misting is always caused by some wet in the car somewhere.. That's why I was asking re the coolant in case you had a cooling system leak o the heater radiator in the car.. No damp and no topping up will mean that's ok and the fact that t happens after rain, has to mean there is water ingress ...somewhere.

It's usually difficult to find if I'm honest...MIT can be from the sunroof and that is common... The sun roof drains can be blocked to meaning that the rain water is actually gathering inside the car rather than running out ... Door seals on these are another source of water ingress after rain ,..as is the windscreen seal... And too.. In the plenum chamber under the bonnet, below the screen..very common for getting water logging in there ..and it then makes its way in..

Again, it doesn't take much Tony..nut those are the common areas to check to trace it down and cure it on this model...

I'm very pleased to have helped you, by all means get back to me if you wish / need..

Meantime, please do click one of the OK smiley faces for me... Thank you. While the question will close, you can if you wish / need , come back to me as you have above... clicking one of the OK smilies does not close you out..

Best Rgds, MIKE.

Were are the drains for the sunshine roof to enable me to check if they are blocked.

Hello again Tony,

As I recal they come out forward of each side sill and inward toward the engine bay..

Best thing to do is open the roof and carefully aim water down the holes, that way you should either see the water dribbling out of each respective drain...or or it will either well up back up at you if clogged. Too,if it doesn't drain and doesn't come up filling up the tube/s , check to see if it's coming in the car then as the drain can also be torn / split..

I hope that helps you further,

Best Rgds, MIKE
