So long as this is just on on its own, then it can be reset its a service due code - service as in , your car being due.

But if you also have the engine fault light on - you would need to have the cars systems scanned for faults logged in the cars Ecu - management computer.

If you dont have the engine systems fault light, then your owners manual tells you how to reset the service due system - or any local Volvo dealer can do it for you if you drop by.

Or you can do the following :

• Ensure all doors are closed.
• Turn ignition key to position I.
• Press and hold reset button (button at bottom left of speedo).
• Immediately turn ignition key to position II.
• Keep reset button depressed until trip meter is reset to 0.
