Hello and Welcome to justanswer..Can I just ask - did the car break down / stop while driving ? or have you come to it and found it like that ?Is there any background / history to this - the more you can tell me , the better...Is the engine cranking speed normal - or is it slow / sluggish or unusually fast? What mileage do you have ?Have you done anything so far - replaced any parts and so on?Kind Rgds - MIKE.............................................
did you get my information?
HI again Scott...No Im sorry - I have only what you have just asked.....Please re send - I dont know whats happened there...Rgds, MIKE...............................
I found it like that, no history, cranking at normal speed, 107,000 and no I have not done anything
Hello again - Ok - thank you ... Right well - the biggest suspect here would be the crank shaft sensor then but you need to check some basics first - ie, check for a spark at the plugs and see if you have fuel up to the engine -and then check if its being injected. The crank sensor failing will cause a non start as its the main trigger for fuel injection -and ignition..so if you find you have neither, thats usually whats wrong. If you find you have spark at the plugs - then likely you have no fuel up - to the engine. Check then for that - Usual cause then would be fuel relay / fuel cut off - fuel pump - or even just a clogged filter. These are the common things - things that need checking throughOR - if you have access to a fault code reader - you can plug into the cars diagnostic socket - as you have that fault message on - there will be fault codes logged in the ecu - and that then will tell you whats wrong that way..So those are the ways forward on this one Scott to get it sorted for you ;)
Im very pleased to have helped you - Let me know if I can help anymore...
