my ford pumas imobiliser will not let me start my car. The key will unlock the central locking but when turning the key in the ignition nothing happens and the imobiliser warning light next to the clock flashes very rapidly, the speedo needle shoots round to max and all the lights dim. I cannot turn on the lights or the hazzard lights which made towing the car home very intersting in the dark. please help me.

sounds very very much like a flat battery to me, not the immobiliser thats for sure..try recharging or replacing the battrey then when the car is running get the altenator checked, my guess is that its stopped charging and now the battrey is run down.but definatly sounds like a flat battreyhope this helpsandy
