This code is relevant to the throttle body on the engine and it requires a new throttle body. The throttle body has a sensor built in to it which monitors the flap position and adjusts it accordingly to the pedal position.

hi is there any tests i can do on the throttle body to make sure its that

Only if you have the correct diagnostic tools and software to tell you the measured points, a visual check will not help.

Customer replied 1358 days and 15 hours ago.

i have the snap on ethos diagnostic tool just not sure on the readings i should be getting anymore info will be a great help otherwise might have to try a second hand one

With the main dealer diagnostic kit you can compare position readings of the throttle body/pedal.

I have no experience of the snap-on system

Best to try a new unit
