I live in Southampton and will be using an independent garage.I have been told that it is 10 hours labour.

Hello again, Thank you for your reply..

If your engine is definately the 2.2 D 4 D engine, This engine runs a timing Chain - not belt...and so does not need replacement generally . There are no scheduled replacement times for it unlike the belt version.

The only time it would need renewal is if its faulty, rattling etc...

The 2.0 engine is the only one in the range that uses a belt driven camshaft.
