Peugeot: brake lights..work ok

brake lights on my peugeot 207(56) sometimes dont work then come on and work ok

Hi..

 

One of the first places to start would be the brake light switch itself located just behind the brake pedal.If this the switch is ruled to be ok. then a circuit test including feed/earths to brake light bulbs would be the next step.to rule out the possibilty of a lose or corroded earth point. might also be worth having alook at behind the rear clusters to make sure all multi plugs are secure.
