Resolved Question:

I have had an immobiliser problem with my Peugeot Expert van(it had lost its code). It has now been reset & the dealer has given me the code. If it happens again, how would I go about re-entering it myself. Is there a keypad somewhere,or a trick with the ignition key ?

Hello & Welcome to justanswer.com...

There are different methods for this -- I need to know whether your key fob has one or two buttons...
If you come back to me and let me know that info - I can then tell you which procedure to use...
I look forward to your reply --

Hi,my keyfob is broken,so i'm using the spare key which has no buttons on it.

Hi there...

Ok, in that case there is no procedure you can use yourself for entering the code.. Its done with computer diagnostic equipment ...

Your vehicle will be fine now however but you may have problems if you disconnect the battery for some reason or the battery goes flat..

t would be a good idea to get a replacement fob in readiness - just in case. Again, once you have the fob - the procedure can be used to enter the code again..

If you like I will give you both procedures - one is for a single and the other is for a two button fob...

I Sincerely XXXXX XXXXX have helped you - Please ask if you need more help...
