I do however on this occasion , need to ask just a couple more questions...so that I can advise you properely..

1, Is the gearbox on your car manual or automatic..?

2, What is the problem you are having ?

3, Have you owned the vehicle from new?

1, (6 SPEED) ELECTRONIC GEARBOX SYSTEM (EGS) HAS AUTOMATIC MODE AND MANUAL MODE. SELECTOR PADDLE ON STEERING COLUMN FOR BOTH.


2. THE PROBLEM IS WHEN DRIVING AS GEARS MOVE UP OR DOWN THROUGH SYSTEM THEY PULL/JOLT SLOWING THE CAR DOWN ON BOTH AUTOMATIC OR MANUAL. THIS CREATES A SLOWING DOWN PROBLEM E.G. WHEN OVERTAKING OR GOING ON ROUNDABOUTS VERY MUCH A FEELING OF DANGER.

Hi there & thank you for coming back on with the extra info... ;)

I feel , having re read your post / problems through , that you have a control unit problem. Now, this may not be as bad as it sounds..ads it can just be reprogrammed - but only by the dealer... I feel a re program - or at the very least , an interrorgation of the control unit to see if there are any stored/logged faults ( as they have this capability) is the next move here - and the only move to be honest.

Contact your dealer - tell them the problems you are having and Im sure they will suggest what I have just done....

Too... your car should still have some manufacturers warranty left !! So it shouldn't cost you anything for this service....
