P1260 is related to the low-pressure (fuel priming) system.

Do you hear the pump run when turning ignition on ?

Check in-tank & (under-bonnet, if fitted) pump(s).

Reply to G Garage's Post: hi i had already checked & the pumps weren't running. i bridged the fuel pump relay & the pumps both ran but the car still would not fire but the same codes appeared on the scannerafter i cleared them. Is it poss that it could be related to the high press.pump
