Customer Question

Hi rob I am trying to fault find a Bosch WF2450 washing M/C - symptom is No response from M/C - plugged in ok - fuse checked ok
power traced through input choke (I am qualified electrician - retired) - power to circuit board ok but no response - checked all plug / socket connections ok - checked circuit board visually for overheat / burning - none - suspect an interlock - any thoughts?

The interlock wont cause this fault. As if the lock was faulty the front control panel will still all light up but just wont start a cycle.

So as you dont have any lights comming on and the power supply to the washer is fine and you have power into the control board then its going to be the control board itself at fault.

As if theres power there but nothing coming on then this will only be down to a faulty control board and not a interlock fault im afraid.

Sorry its not good news but this is looking like the control board is the fault here.
