Customer Question

the pilot light on my gas hob has stopped sparking. First of all, I've no idea what the model number is, it's about 8/10 years old and I don't know where the instruction booklet it. Can I identify it any other way?
JA: I'll do all I can to help. How long have you been dealing with this?
Customer: the lack of spark? since last week.
JA: Do you plan on doing the work yourself?
Customer: probably, with help! unless it's going to be tricky
JA: Anything else we should know to help you best?
Customer: can't think of anything

If you can access the under side of the hob thats were the rating plate will be with all the model details on there.

If theres a drawer under the hob then remove that and see if you can see it there.

Or if theres an oven under the hob then you need to slide the oven out from there. The oven is normally held in with 2 or 4 screws so open the door and you will see them there.

Once the oven is out you can access the rating plate there.

Im afraid thats the only place they put the model details on a hob only.

Once you get the details if you still need help then just get back to me.

Regards

Well that's hopeless in afraid. My husband and I are both disabled, we can't possibly achieve that

I know its not the best idea of putting the model details but im afraid thats were it is.

Wish i could say it was easyer to get at but im afraid all the details you will need is on the sticker on the underside of the hob.
