Customer: I have a Hotpoint Mistral Fridge / Freezer approx fifeteen years old which is now displaying the code letters EE on the LCD display.
JA: Can you guesstimate how old your Hotpoint is? And just to clarify, what's the exact model?
Customer: Its a least fifeteen years old, not sure on the exact model as I'm not at home currently. From your experience would you say this worth repairing?

That error means that there is a problem in the defrost circuit. Can you hear a fan running in the freezer section? Can you see any frost on the back wall inside the freezer?
