JA: What's the make and model of your washing machine? And can you guesstimate how old it is?
Customer: Hoover Vision tech 7kg about 18months-2 years

An E05 error code means that you have an issue with the NTC the water temperature sensor at the back. It may be as simple as a loose connection which needs reconnecting. If no loose connection, remove the sensor and clean it. Refit the sensor after cleaning and try the unit again. If still the same you need to replace the sensor.
