I have an AEG Lavatherm drier that is displaying error code

Customer Question

I have an AEG Lavatherm drier that is displaying error code E50, I have pushed the start button & the time button &!it then displays error code E51. I have entered the diagnostic mode in position 3 and again it displays E51 and then stops. It appears to be making a 'groaning ' noise as it try's to spin? The product code is 916 096 476 05. Do you think it's the motor?
JA: Just to clarify, what's the make and model of the appliance? And has it done this before?
Customer: AEG T56840L, no it hasnt
JA: Do you plan on doing the work yourself?

Turn the machine on, close the door. Press and hold together the start button and the button to the left of it. While holding them, you should get another code.
