Hi, my name is ***** ***** I look forward to helping you!

The only way the pump will run with the door open is if water has gotten in the base of the machine, below the tub, and actuated the float to start the flood cycle. Can you remove the access panel from below the door to get a look in that base to see if there is water down there, please?

I'll look.

Thank you! Let me know what you find!

Customer: replied 7 months ago.
Looking under the machine. I can find no water, nor evidence of previous water.

Looking to the left side, there is a red plastic rod. Do you see that part?

Customer: replied 7 months ago.
There is no red rod visible from the underside front. I think I'll abandon this at this point and call for a repair person visit. Thanks anyway.

I understand, thank you.
