I need to take the front off an AEG lavamat model L74810 to get to he door handle mechanism as its not locking properly ( it's saying the door is locked but won't start )

Happy to start it tomorrow morning, but Iam not good at this type of thingIt stopped halfway through a wash by tripping out the kitchen, drained it but Defo seems to be the door mech as it has green light for door but will just open easy and wont send a message to the brain to allow it to startThank you

OK firstly there is a service bulletin out about faulty door locks for this model so before you do anything call out AEG give them your model number, pnc and serial number and they may come out and repair the item free of charge. If once this call is made they wont, come back to me and we can do some fault finding.
