Check/change the brushes in the motor

Open the rear panel of the appliance, remove the motor wiring (taking note of positions), remove the motor and unscrew the brush-holders from the rear side.

Check the length of the carbons is greater than 10mm.

Check the carbons are moving freely in the holder.
