Customer Question

Hi i have a Smeg Cs 120-7 and the timer burnt up. I am changing the timer but since two of the wires burnt off completely I do not know which way around the connect. there is a black wire and a white wire and they must connect to either FL5 and FL6 connection on the timer but which way?

Hi, welcome to Just Answer. My name is ***** ***** I look forward to helping you! I believe the black goes to the FL5 terminal but am not 100% certain. Can you post a picture of the old and new timer and the wiring as you have it now so I may confirm, please?

Customer: replied 10 months ago.
Hi kelly, see attached picture of new and old timers, as you can see the old one is burnt.

Do you have the E number from that appliance?

Customer: replied 10 months ago.
Sorry what/where is the E number?
Expert:  Kelly replied 10 months ago.

It should be on a tag with the serial number on it.

Customer: replied 10 months ago.
Cant see one, where about on the appliance is it likely to be? will I need to pull the range out to access the back?
Expert:  Kelly replied 10 months ago.

It should be accessible from the front.
