Can you post the make and model number please.

Bosch think the model is(###) ###-####?? Only had it since Feb it's fairly new !

Ok that isn't the model number im afraid. The model number starts E-nr.

But as to the code do you see a number flashing as well as the E?

Il try an find it, I turn hob on go to set temp an it flashes from the temp set to a backwards looking 9

Sorry this isn't good news. You have a fault on the control board in there when you get this code. One thing you can try if you haven't already is turn the power off to the hob and leave it for 30 mins and see if this clears it.

If not then the electronic control unit will need to be replaced. As its new then it will still be under warrenty with Bosch as they give 2 year warrenty so give them a bell and they will call out and replace the electronic for you and sort it from there.

But try turning the power off as sometimes this can reset the electronics and clear it from there.
