Hi model number is *****It is stuttering and not running. Drains a little and then stops. Unable to reset or start a programme.
Expert:  Daniel T. replied 1 year ago.

Ok so if you press and hold the start/cancel button for several seconds will that reset the cycle?

If not then try this and see what happens.

Turn the dishwasher off.

Press and hold the start button and turn it on.

Keep it held in for several seconds and then let go.

Now turn the dishwasher back off and then retry it and see what happens and let me know.

noises and it did drain the water out earlier

How do I reset?
Expert:  Daniel T. replied 1 year ago.

To reset you need to hold the start/cancel button for a few seconds. I did say that in the first answer. Did you do that?

Did you also do the other part that i said were you hold the start button in and turn the dishwasher on?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
did both of those. Not working.
Expert:  Daniel T. replied 1 year ago.

Ok if its not working and the pump is running all the time then its usually down to a water leak in the base.

To cure this you need to remove the outer wooden door panel.

Then remove the wooden kickboard at the bottom of your kitchen.

Then remove the metal cover at the bottom of the door on the front.

Then make sure its unplugged and then look under the dishwasher.

There you will see the metal base. If this is full of water you need to use a sponge and soak the water up from there.

Once all the water is out the flood switch will reset itself and then you can reset the control unit from there.

Then retry it and see how it goes. Fingers crossed its just a one off overfill that caused this. But if it happens again then theres a leak under there which you need to find and fix to cure this im afraid.

Try that and see what you find and let me know.

Thanks yes checked base. It's dry. No leak.
Expert:  Daniel T. replied 1 year ago.

Ok if the base is clear then its not the flood switch. So if the control board isnt resetting then it can only be the control board itself causing this fault.

Theres 2 control boards on this model. You have the programming board and the main board. So as you say it isnt resetting when you did the above then its an electronic fault here. Most of the time its the programming control board that causes this but as you cannot test it its a case of replacing it.

But there is also a chance it could be the main board as well as these do fail quite a lot. As this dishwasher is actually made by Beko and just badged up Lamona.

Sorry this isnt looking like good news but if the base is clear and its not resetting then its an electronic control fault here.
